He has a job now (graduated from high-school) and is not home every night anymore and is buying junk food, leaving leftovers in the fridge for me to clean up. He won't eat ANY meals with me anymore, just on principle. I have not complained, but have given up offering to share meals due to his negative attitude. I understand he is trying to be independant, but he seems to want to battle about everything. As long as there's only healthy food in the house, be glad he's learned to listen to his own body and chooses to eat only when he needs to. And that he's willing and able to take care of his own needs. Oh, and that he's home every night!Krystie Kellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15479799839034750641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3478862239871963749.post-58560540917366738242010-05-12T00:24:02.811-04:002010-05-12T00:24:02.811-04:00I tried the leftover tip years ago with my (now) t...I tried the leftover tip years ago with my (now) teenage son. The current problem facing me is that he is always in the fridge after midnight. He is still thin but all the noise keeps me awake. But in all of your helpful stories you keep on using the words "kid" or "kids". Sorry, but I've REALLY got a problem with that word. Kids are GOATS. Similar to people saying hey vs hello--you know--hay is for horses... Anyway, since you are in the CHILD advice business how about using the words "child" and "children" instead of ...well, you know what. Thank you. Hope you don't think I am a nag.Ms. Prissnoreply@blogger.com
